Happy Birthday to Me!

My real life - rather than blip - birthday today. And it's Good Friday! I've never been big on celebrating my birthday - at least not since I was 21. I've never been big on being one year older. Yet I am grateful to those who go out of their way to make it such a special day. And today that includes a 24 cup-cake birthday cake in the shape of a butterfly made by my niece. So this morning when I was reflecting on being yet another year older and at the same time the lovely cards and gifts I received and thinking about things that I had read in friend's blips I realised that today I need to be grateful. So, I am grateful for:
being another year older and another year wiser
all that is out there for me still to learn
my wonderful family - I love each one of them so very, very much
my 'real world' friends - they all mean so much to me
my 'virtual world' friends, blippers and FBers - I can't imagine them not being part of my life now
the wonderful weather today - cold and snow on the hills and yet Spring sunshine.
I could go on and on and on. However, I will stop there but will finish by saying that if you are reading this then Thank You - I am grateful. Cheers!
