The Mill

Taken on Saturday this is a shot of Fairfield Mill looking up the river. There’s a lot of water coming down!
The original mill turbine is still in place although it wasn’t operational when we were there.
I think water power is really undervalued given how much of it there is around Cumbria. I know if I had a stream I would get a water generator. So many simple solutions to our energy crisis and all they do is talk.
