Aw Heck.....

Chilly start this morning.
Everything fed then loaded up 3 cull cows and a big blonde X bullock into the trailer,the fat terrier co pilot into the landrover and headed off to the mart at St Boswell's.
I don't know what it is about drivers just now but 3 times on the way there and back I had to slow sharply as idiots were overtaking traffic head on towards me. Clowns the lot of them.
Back home ,a quick change then headed off to Haddington for my endoscopy appointment.
Despite running well behind and looking thoroughly harassed,the staff couldn't have been nicer. There is no way I could do their jobs.
Back home by 6pm with no major issues and a packet of tablets to hopefully help things. Now I know what a calf feels like when I have to stomach tube it with milk !
The mart texted the prices tonight. The big bullock was 622 kilos @ 224p/Kg. His mates went in March and averaged £30 less but he was the one that sliced his leg open so couldn't be sold that day. So 7 months late but he is away ,which is always a bonus.
Time for some food now as I've not been allowed to eat since 6am. Beef stir fry cooking as we speak !
