Sloss Drachenburg

After a copious breakfast in the hotel, Bert and I put on out walking boots and set off to enjoy a lovely sunny autumn day in the Sieben Gebirge. From the hotel we walked down to Sloss Drachenburg (see the two photos), then all the way to the River Rhine banks to have lunch and then up the Petersberg again, 17 km up and down.
What a way to celebrate my 6th anniversary of recovering from the acute myelitis that left me paralysed from the waist down. I still can’t quite believe how far I have come!
