Lunchtime Stroll

The weather was far better today than we expected and we had a great time at the allotment.  We talked about hibernation, swept leaves, chopped up big branches, played in mud and planted the last of the bulbs.
At lunchtime I took a stroll to New Haven and enjoyed the Blackheaded Gulls sitting on the wall.  After looking them up, I discovered that they are in their winter plumage i.e. without black heads.  ( I think this is correct)
