Monday

Another trip to Harleston - this time for my booster at the vaccination centre - so we drove a little further to Bungay afterwards. It's another town we don't know very well, this time on the Suffolk side of the River Waveney. A beautiful day for a walk around the town; a total contrast to yesterday. The main photo shows the market place with the 17th century building known as the Butter Cross. The Scales of Justice figure was a slightly later addition in 1754. The extras show the River Waveney and the ruins of the mediaeval castle, once the stronghold of the Bigod family.
