Oh my

Eat your heart out Paul Hollywood!

After seeing him bake these this week I just had to give them a go!

My first time at baking anything remotely like this and I do believe I've avoided the dreaded soggy bottom!

Though not yet tried them so will have to report back later on their taste. They were meant to be with an afternoon cuppa but a slight problem with my dough not rising meant it's taken 8 hours to get this stage as opposed to the 3 in the recipe!! I blame the fact my airing cupboard isn't actually that hot!




In other news Bill got stripped today and the full extent of his war wounds are now apparent :(

Well given James has asked me to make more I'd say they were a success!
