Life has long treated me kindly, but it has now turned rather cruel. After a long career in newspapers, radio and tv as a motoring writer, jetting around the world to test new cars, I can now no longer drive. I have motor neurone disease, boo. On the upside I'm still here, still (mostly) cheerful, and supported by a wonderful family and friends. Life is still good, just ... different. The pets seem pretty happy about it though!
Apologies if I don't post as often as I used to, but I still enjoy seeing the wider world through all of your eyes.
