Turville

This is the village of Turville in The Chiltern Hills.  We had a walking weekend with friends in the Chilterns, and our lunch stop on a hill above the village gave us this amazing view.  We also watched two crows attack a hovering kestrel and the ensuing aerial battle as they chased the solo bird away.  The kestrel was back in the hover a coupe of minutes later none the worse for his/her fight. 

The walk was 12 miles in total starting from Stonor Park.  It was the first time we had visited the Chiltern Hills, we will be back.
