Roslin Glen
We've been to Roslin Glen before but not this part of it for a good few years and never in Autumn. Normally this is the turning point and we had back over the bridge, but this time we started from the east and were presented with this view, just as the sun was shining on it. This site once had the largest gunpowder mill in Scotland between 1801 and 1954 when it closed and the water mill buildings and water shoots are still all there.
We've been gearing up Arlo for the clock change (this morning) for a week, slightly delaying his meals a bit each day. This morning went well, 2 hours later than the usual but by 5pm he was ready for his dinner an hour early, although this might have been because his late walk was earlier. November already, time flies!
