What a Day!

Gosh it was just gorgeous today! A bit of a breeze...not nearly like yesterday, with crystal blue skies. We tried to walk at the Arboretum this morning, but were later than usual and there wasn't a parking place for miles. So we went and did the grocery shopping and I spent the afternoon in the garden cutting back, weeding and so on. Got a good lot of work done, but as you can see, things are still blooming, like this lovely David Austin 'Carding Mill' rose which sent up a new shoot with three gorgeous blossoms on it. The weather will deteriorate rapidly after today so I'll have to fly to New Mexico to get some blue sky (which I'm doing Tuesday). So I'll be posting sunny blue skies from there for a week!
