A walk on the woods at Tockholes.

We have had several seriously full days so it was nice to get up when we woke up and have a relaxing day .
The shot is off my sister and Bramble. Her dog , Monty , is off to the left somewhere out of shot searching for sticks .
I’ve spoken to both our boys and watched our granddaughter , on WhatsApp playing for a bit . It’s been a weekend if contrasts , some sad moments amid mainly joyous moments. We went to a birthday party in Manchester last night , hopefully not s super spreading event. My cousin was celebrating turning 60 , she didn’t expect to make it and may not reach 61 , she is such a brave person . She was determined to party. Understandably lots of hugging went on , we are human , we are family, we like and love one another, it was good to reconnect, promise to meet up in the near future and catch up on news of the wider family.
Last weeks adventure and challenge was a visit to the dentist.
This week , tomorrow, includes a visit to the opticians. My anxiety about such visits means that I have had very few eye tests , I’m trying to be calm about it . We have glaucoma in the family so I would be foolish to continue to avoid such visits .
