Feasting

Allegra's face about sums up the savouring of the feast that our co-grandparents invited us to today, twelve of us, all ages, plus Ella, the dog, who made her presence felt. They are fantastic cooks and hugely generous, and today was no different. Roast turkey and gammon, plus all the trimmings, could well be our family Christmas dinner this year... it was definitely good enough.

Gratefuls:
- beautiful autumn weather walking there, after much rain at the start of the day
- our church, morning and night, always good to be together; tonight, instead of a sermon, a discussion between two of the church leaders on how to disagree, with the opportunity to send in questions by text, really helpful
- the focaccia that Paul's made, and that I now need to go down to eat and chat together
