Wild wet windy evening! All Hallows’ Eve.

Just arriving back at the place tonight where we are staying this week.
It was wild, wet, and windy at the time.
I accidentally moved the phone as I took the photo. But liked the effects!
Saw the family this afternoon through the patio window this time.
They’d been making pumpkin faces with help from our d-i-l.
I found it very hard today seeing how exhausted she and our son look.
Meanwhile our own friends are being amazingly supportive to us both.
Offering lunches and dinners, and one of them has given us a key to his flat to use during the day.
It’s not far from our house. A 20 minute walk or 5-6 minute drive.
We had lunch and tea there with him today.
I think there are still 8 days quarantine for the family left. But our son wasn’t sure if it is 8 or 9. An exchange of text messages through the patio window!
Thankful to be in a warm dry place with comfy beds, where so many go without.
Thankful for supportive friends.
Thankful for our present health.
And messages of encouragement.
I may not have much time to comment this coming week as we will be a bit more nomadic each day.
