Loony dog

Ella and I were taking shelter on the windy beach, Rosie wanted more stones thrown for her. Look at that tongue!

I made the most of the glorious extra hour and morning storms by staying in bed with my book. The first book I had started since august holiday! I used to hate the clocks changing when Daisy and Will were little, it took them days to get used to it. Now I just have to feed animals and we can all go back to bed.

I did a pile of cooking- curries for dinner, apple cake, beetroot top pesto, roasted plums. (Plum part no more than putting them in the oven but hey ho). I cut out fabric for a new top and lounged a while. Spoke to Daisy around 3:30, she had just woken up after a party last night and was in good form.

I decided not to put a pumpkin out this year for the trick and treaters. Rosie just barks her head off for two hours solid with all the door knocking, it’s the only thing she barks at but she goes a bit crazy. Then someone knocked at the door! We ignored it and then Will appeared after breaking in via the back door. That will teach him not to take a key.
