Over ..............

 .............. the fields and far away!    
After a morning of absolutely torrential rain and almost gale force winds, some blue sky put in an appearance - but that grey one looks a little ominous (I actually always say omnibus but you may think I'm a bit dim if I put that!!)

Speaking of far away -  as I did  - a three day "mission" looms, starting at 02.30 tomorrow ........... 1,400 miles to drive and two hotels for the sleeping!
This would have been a doddle when I first became a "spy" fourteen years ago but, as the years creep up, the stamina levels retreat.

Smile for the Day:

A geologist was driving down a country road when he saw this beautiful rock formation. He pulled over to get a closer look. As he was admiring the rock, an old farmer drove up. The geologist asked if he knew how long the rock had been here.

The farmer says "In fact, I do!   It's a million and 7 years old"

The geologist is stunned and says   "That's oddly specific, how do you know that?"

The farmer says "Well, another fella like you came to look at this same rock and he said it was a million years old ......... and that was about 7 years ago
