Bidford Bridge is falling down!

Bidford on Avon is well known for its picturesque  Saxon bridge. 
Times have changed since Saxon times and it is now a busy road . Sadly ,several times in recent years, lorries and cars have crashed into the sides of the bridge when driving across. This has happened again recently and the bridge is currently closed to traffic and repairs are underway. An estimated three week period of closure has been announced, fingers crossed that this doesn’t need to be extended!
