Gourds
Maybe I overdid the leaves, which I scooped off the front lawn. A staying at home day today. Len helped me set up the scenery for this still life for which I was very grateful. It takes so long to set up while the photos themselves take a matter of seconds.
These are the pumpkins/gourds that I picked at Blackbrook Farm last week, with the exception of the yellow one on top of the box which I bought at Calke Abbey yesterday. Now what do I do with them? The white one is destined to be eaten this evening.
We had really good rain this morning. The flood alarms were continually going off. The Leicester Mercury has warned of flooding in Shepshed, at which I am not surprised. It will be interesting to see how it has affected the new housing estates.
If you think the photo looks too dark, it's because I prefer a low-key exposure.
