A Rainbow

I was initially trying to photograph just the stone shed in the morning light. Then this colourful rainbow appeared for just a few seconds and a dipper flew downstream, a few feet away from me. The shed housed a generator and supplied the first electric for Llanrhaeadr-Ym-Mochnant in 1924 according to my neighbour, but the gear inside has long gone. The water was supplied by a leat across the field where now you can just see a depression in the grass which follows the contour of the land up to a weir a few hundred yards upstream.
