Olea europaea

I bought these two paintings from an artist outside the cathedral in Palma. I couldn’t choose between the watercolour and the ink one so decided to get them both. She was lovely and, as I was paying, said, “I didn’t say before so you wouldn’t think I was trying to get you to buy them, but it is considered good luck to have pictures of olive trees in your house”.

I also brought home a cold, from which I’ve been convalescing today. On the bright side, though, my return Covid test was negative.
