Torksey Lock

It’s hard to believe that this morning it was pouring with rain, as though it would never stop, but by the time we had been to Gainsborough for our booster COVID jab and stopped off at Torksey it was beautiful. 

The Trent looked high when we passed it at Dunham last weekend, so we checked the level today. 

We were invited over to R & S’s for dinner this evening. S collected us at 5pm. We had a delicious meal and viewed their Canada holiday pictures from their mobile phones on the TV. I love technology when someone else sorts it out and it works. R drove us home.  It is good to think that the clock goes back an hour tonight, so a bit more sleep, which is sorely needed.
