Surprise!

A pleasant surprise this afternoon, the sun came out and lit up our elm. Positively golden. I wasn’t out enjoying the weather though, decided to watch the rugby on the box instead. The Scotland match was a bit one sided even if it was good to see them scoring some good tries but the Wales / New Zealand match was much more competitive, at least in the first half. A bad day for the Jambos I’m afraid as they lost their unbeaten record. Three games in a row that they’ve lost a bad goal from a corner. Something for the training ground?

PS I just heard Boris attributing the fall of the Roman Empire to uncontrolled immigration! Nothing to do with poor leadership then? Not to mention political infighting, a deteriorating economy, weak administration, etc etc. He does like to rewrite history does our Boris.
