Mushrooms

Some years ago we used to have really good crops of mushrooms in the spring...St George's Mushroom my little book called them. We used to really enjoy eating them. Then they disappeared never to be seen again.

I love mushrooms fried in good butter on toast!

This autumn we have had these chunky mushrooms appearing. They look and smell just right but as yet we have not eaten any! I must check them out a bit more. Any advice gratefully received.
