Day out

Mr B always ask, when he’s not playing tennis, our plans for the day. He’d probably just go round the block, do his steps, return to the kitchen or TV. But he knows I’ll want to go out, and not always the same route.

I was exchanging comments with ‘Tajimo’ (blipper in Germany). They were here 3 years ago, and a recent blip mentioned the Purbecks. With a 3/4 full tank of petrol, it seems a pity to gift it to the dealer on Wednesday if they do buy my car. So I thought we’ll go to Wareham (on the Isle of Purbeck). Only 35 mn drive at this time of the year. Not been for ages.

Parked and headed straight to the market. The best fruit and veg around. Little else of note. Long queue, the stand is always busy.

Walked the km to Stoborough, stopping at the Kings Arms for a drink. Then back to Wareham, a stroll up the High Street, and home via Parkstone for his Polish Bread.
