Magna

We had an exciting day.  We went with ArcaneSpark and the kids to Magna in Rotherham.  It is billed as "A Science Adventure Centre".  The building is an old ironworks with some of the equipment still in place.  The "Big Melt" was about the electric arc furnace with lights and sounds simulating the process in and around the old furnace.  (Shot in extras). 

For some reason yet to be established my camera had a totally flat battery.  It has never happened before or since.  That forced me to rely on my phone which I am not really familiar with.

The children, despite having visited before, loved going round the various sections Earth, Fire, water, and air. "playing" with all the interactive displays and hopefully learning as they go.

The blip is the pair of them looking at a huge globe, the colour is strange as the area was lit by blue light.  In the extras other than the Arc Furnace there is a shot of Clickychick caught just in front of the projected flames at the entrance to the fire section.
