…………………….Pilgrimage of Harold Fry…being filmed on the promenade this afternoon! Starring Jim Broadbent as Harold Fry this would be the end of his 450 mile journey from Devon. It’s expected to hit the cinemas next summer.

After a somewhat damp morning this afternoon has been glorious, though chillier than of late. Eldest arrived this morning and got rid of the carpet, underlay and gripper in the sitting room and we removed the vertical blinds, curtain rail, tv bracket and the plastic cabling housing…he then polyfillered all the holes. The room is completely bare and very echoey now!

He left after lunch and youngest arrived shortly after…once she was fed we had a lovely walk along the beach and back by the promenade whence we stumbled upon the film set. There were a lot of people milling about.

Dinner is prepped and will be cooked shortly then it will be an evening watching TV…looking forward to my Strictly fix.
