Making pumpkin mash.
I remember the antisipation I had once, when I opened a butternut and already planned to roast the seeds. I looked forward to it and when I opened it, it had about 4 seeds… not much to roast with oil and salt…
This time, I had no expectations. But, the butternut was generous and I will have enough for the breakfast buns I’m baking later. The buns will have pumpkin mash in them too, and I’ll have enough for some other baking too. :)
