Berry Boulevard

A fairly breezy day, but dry.  Heavy rain is due later this evening. 

Weekend off, and up fairly early.  A morning puttering about the house, and a walk with Sammy.  Lunch at the Cornerstone, and then met friend Julie for walkies with the dogs.  Working in the shop late afternoon and evening.  

The new housing development is fairly coming on now, with a few of the houses looking complete from the outside.  I think it's a total of 40 houses to go up, a mix of flats and houses, with four private plots.  With Berry Farm owning most of the land around Scalloway, and still used for farming, there is very little development to the village, so this is a good asset.  I'm unsure what they are going to name it, but a view to Berry Farm, Berry Boulevard would well suited.  Taken from Berry Farm, Scalloway.
