Guardian angel, at the minimum focus distance. Likely shaky. Well worn out and famished when I eventually made it home tonight. Bit light headed. Discovered the camera metering was set to matrix (...not again!) after taking this, so likely the same for yesterday. Wouldn't have affected the previous two lenses, as for lenses without electrical contacts it automatically goes to centre-weighted when set to matrix metering.
