CARVED

 I joined my neighbors at a Halloween event at the Descanso Gardens.  The whole garden was decorated with CARVED pumpkins of every design imaginable.  Professional carvers were on sight, & there was even a pumpkin carved in the likeness of Ruth Bader Ginsberg.  Lots of energetic children in costume were there, plus a group of teenagers dressed as a bacon, lettuce & tomato sandwich.

This was the kind of Halloween event I like- - not a gruesome decoration in sight. Just plain fun.  I was up past my bedtime, but it was so fun to be out & about with friends again.
