dancing to your own beat

I had not realised just how enthusiastically today's street  party was going to be attended. I think that as a cafe owner, I've come to be a be a bit of an old curmudgeon around people. (people! - don't get me started!)
But the crowds gathered with that pent up excitement of finally being allowed to mingle en masse. Oh the novelty!
I was very happy to watch it all from the upstairs kitchen...
