2021 Wednesday— Tristan

We learned today that Tristan is part of the ROTC at his high school. We are sure his interest in this is increased because his stepdad Justin is in the U.S. Navy.

I can hardly believe how much Tristan looks like my dad, especially when I see Tristan in uniform. Today is my dad’s birthday. Dad would be 95 today. Twenty-nine years ago, in December of 1992, Dad died when he was 66.

We walked the pups in Tidelands Park today. It’s very warm here with the Santa Lucia winds coming from the East. Direct sun almost all afternoon and our little house can get quite hot. We're thrilled to have ceiling fans. As soon as the sun sets the air chills, but it takes a while for the air temp in this house to cool. I think October is our warmest month.
