Dress code

We joined a friend for breakfast at a local restaurant this morning. The sun shone, the Pacific Ocean sparkled, we enjoyed good company and satisfying food. But I fear that I committed a breach of etiquette. I failed to appreciate that male diners here are required to wear a black tee-shirt advertising an upmarket place to drink or travel. But I'm not losing any sleep over it!
