Tunnel Vision

Built in 1931 this road tunnel connects the eastern suburbs of Wellington more directly to the rest. There are roads that do the same but they are slightly longer. We staggered through this to meet The Bossess at the airport which was a 1 hr 40 minute walk ( about 8km) via another tunnel that runs under the Airport runways and is cycle/waking only. We rode back in a cab that had a Vaccinated driver notice on the window which was only noticed as we were getting out. Something new too.
Its a good tunnel to walk through and well ventilated as I have never noticed car fumes in the many times we have been through it.
