A Real Pain in the Neck ?............

.....................no not really - " it's just the way I'm made!!" said this flamingo.
Had a morning out and for once have a few pix. I could submit but chose this one because it shows his eye so well and how very pale it is and the lovely colour of the upper part of his bill. Cropped the picture very severely to get just his head and part of the wing. Flamingos are not so pink at this time of year as in the Summer - perhaps they blanche in the cold!

Weather very cold but at least the sun has shone all day - temperature is 2 deg C - and the wind has dropped a bit
