More chair work

...and back home from work to a lit fire and tea on the go again. What a shame the weather has been so dire for my friend’s visit and catch up with his daughter and grandchildren staying at her mum’s in Keswick for half term.poor things. They walked to the cafe at Threlkeld, got soaked, waited in the rain with 2 little ones and a shivering puppy for a bus that never showed up and had to get taxis back (amazingly with their old neighbour who charged locals rates). I think they were glad to get back to a fire to dry out.
My friend and I have been having a very nostalgic time reminiscing on our Grasmere years.
