America the Beautiful park

This is located in downtown Colorado Springs. The name of the park is inspired by the song that was penned in 1895 by Katharine Lee Bates while she was on top of Pikes Peak, seen here in the background. The sculptural fountain (water turned off for the winter) was designed to "represent the life-giving movement of water between the atmosphere and the earth."
I was downtown waiting for hubby to get his hair cut when I came across this. Do I live in a great town, or what!
