A night out

I got a call from a friend late yesterday afternoon who had a spare ticket to Mahalia Barnes last night (backblipping) at Lizottes did I want to come.   Well of course I went.   It was a great evening.   The ticket included a very good meal (Persian Lamb with pearl barley and beans and a Margarita - the Margarita was not included in the ticket).  Mahalia Barnes for those that don't know her is the daughter of Jimmy Barnes and I would describe her as a soul, R & B and rock singer.   She does a great cover of Proud Mary and her singing of Rise Up (She sang this in the masked singer when she was Pavlova ) was magical even though she had her phone out to google the rest of the song as she said they only sing a brief bit of songs in the masked singer.
