And they did drive 300 miles

For nine years these two were our next door neighbours in Joppa. They also have grandchildren in Gloucestershire. Today we met up for a lovely catch up while they were down on a half term visit. When we first met them we had no idea that we would be entertaining them so far away from Edinburgh as residents of Gloucestershire in 2021!

This morning I walked very fast to keep up with our 9 year old grandson putting his new bike through its paces and all 18 gears! It was a lovely sunny day after the heavy rain had blown through. We were, however, both overtaken by his mother out for a 5k run!
