Nutty

At last we have some sunshine. The rain has stopped for the moment although more is forecast for tonight.  Nature has certainly caught up after that long dry spell with over a foot of rain falling in 36 hours a little to the north of here.  The rivers are now very full and some roads are closed due to local flooding.  Sadly it is reported that about 40 homes have been flooded which must be terrible for their occupants.

The nuthatches and the coal tits have been particularly active this afternoon.
