Walk with corn

Lovely sunny morning so we did a long walk. Have walked this way many times before and spotted corn growing where previously sheep had been grazing. It looks like the corn has not been harvested which seems strange but what do I know?

Afternoon tea and cakes with friends and lots of laughs including a tumbleweed moment when F asked M about her Facebook page? Strange denial which could have turned awkward.
