Tethered Flowers
I can never remember the name of these flowers. They are doing very well this season. They were planted more than twenty years ago in a spot that didn’t make them happy. Gradually, year by year, they have moved to an area that suits them so well that they have spread beautifully. Strangely, there is one plant in the original place about 3metres away.
Edit: KatesGardenPDX has identified the flower as Ajuga. I've learned that it is Ajuga reptans and its common name is bugle.
I had trouble deciding between this and a shot of raindrops on grass. The latter is the extra shot.
