My Old Digs

Two of my former colleagues at McMinnville High School, Kathy and Kerrie, asked for my collaboration on a media display of old yearbook covers (I was the yearbook advisor for 15 years), and school newspaper layouts. They will be in very nice frames, and hung outside the new Moondance Media Center. The neon “The Mac” sign refers to the name that we changed the yearbook to in 2010.

The “Hippies Use Side Door” came from my old room, so of course, I used the side door. The last shot is from near my old classroom. The school just went through a major renovation, and I literally didn’t recognize most of it.

It was a very fun day catching up with my old friends, and I am going back tomorrow to help again.
