The rain has hardly stopped since yesterday afternoon with massive puddles and water flowing down the roads so it was a surprise to see that there were no raindrops in the puddles late this afternoon.  A great deal more rain is forecast tomorrow which must be a great worry for those living very near rivers or in hilly areas especially in southern Scotland and the Lake District.
