Birds Park Reserve

We decided to brave the weather and see if the bulldozing at Pepper’s Wood was having any results in holding water.
As you see there is a bit behind this bund, but the others weren’t holding anything much. It was very noticeable that the heavily overgrazed fields next to the wood were running with water all flowing down towards Kendal. But we know that…..
More interesting were the orange peel fungus growing on top of the earthworks!
