Illuminations

You think you’d be right in saying that most children would love the illuminations at Blackpool.

We booked a night in a duplex in Lytham St Anne’s, away from the crowds and thoroughly enjoyed a stroll along the seafront, eating ice cream from a tub, in the biting wind.

Later we drove to Blackpool and got in the queue of traffic to view the lights. At the end of the lights, having sat for over an hour behind slow moving vehicles, George pipes up from his car seat, “I don’t like this place!”
