The day that got away

A morning spent in a very positive Zoom meeting, a couple of taxi runs and a trip to Notcutts, to replenish our stocks of bird seed and buy a few cheap bulbs, somehow filled most of the day. I still haven't got to grips with how early the sun sets now - next week there won't be any evening at all! 

This was a quick phone shot taken at Notcutts, where the ornamental trees were putting on a fine show of colour. The native woodlands are still largely green and have hardly lost any leaves yet - not surprising given the lack of frost and very mild temperatures. It looks a bit colder next week, so maybe that will prompt some changes.
