last day

woke to a complete white-out, it was beautiful and freezing cold.
the day went - snow - sun - thaw - snow - sun ... etc.
this was taken in a sun-thaw period in the afternoon, of Brinji on a post surveying her world. so many last day photos, difficult to decide which to post. but enough of snowscapes, i think.
i stayed on doing last minute things, last minute visits to such warm and lovely friends, till eventually early evening i got the bus. was quite heart-wrenching to leave the cats, very fond of them.
their 'proper' people would be back later in the evening so they wouldnt have long to wait.
got back early evening, tired and sad. the month seems to have gone very quickly.
