The top end of the market…
… now a Co-op store and Post Office. And it’s still a Co-op with empty shelves. I did buy a box of wine and stopped to have a chat with my brother who was also in there but then walked on to Marks & Spencer. Their shelves were full to bursting and everything I wanted was there.
When I got home there was a letter waiting. It was addressed to Mrs and since everyone except out local health services use Ms I deduced it was either an appointment with a visiting rheumatologist or invitation to arrange my Covid booster and flu jabs.
Well I was wrong! It was from the Medical Specialist Group; specifically the Cardiologist. Apparently my heart is OK with just one recommendation. That is to maintain good dental hygiene and the bit that amazed me… not to have any tattoos or body piercings!
You might think at 70 plus that wouldn’t bother me but ever since I had to remove my nose piercing for operations on my feet about 6 years ago (and forgot to replace it quickly enough afterwards so it healed over), I’ve been meaning to have it done again. And yes I had been musing over another tat…
