Stocking the freezer

Got up and went to bookbug this morning but we took so long getting organised, we missed the first half. Euan got some books and a Chuggington dvd out the library afterwards and then we went and got screenwash to top up the washers.

Euan had playgroup today so Rhona and I went and got the car washed after we dropped him off. I vaccumed it too and it is looking a bit better for Martin getting home on Monday. It was a bit disgusting, but now it's not :) We also went to Tesco and I got some stuff to make some food for the freezer as it is looking a bit bare in the baby food shelf (the rest of it needs a good sort out though)

After picking Euan up we came home and I made fish pie for tea and 4 portions for the freezer. Euan and Rhona had a half apple each and I came through to find pieces of skin that Rhona had spat out all over the floor. A quick sweep up and it looked better again then it was tea time. After an "I don't like that Mummy" from Euan, I encouraged him to try it and he didn't hate it after all! Rhona ate all hers up and then 2 yogurts then was a bit grumpy before bed as she had refused to nap in the afternoon. She was in bed at 7 and then Euan went up at 7.30 to have some of his library books read. I quite enjoyed them too!

Once they were in bed I made some bolognaise sauce for the freezer too. It made a huge amount! I was glad to be finished cooking then had an evening sorting out some stuff and some tv.
